As you all dig out from underneath the hills of wrapping paper and empty Fisher-Price, Barbie and Wii boxes, let’s take a look back at articles posted during this very merry Christmas week.

*Kristi started off the week with a touching, emotional post about her first Christmas away from home and extended family.

*JJ explains how she (finally) relented and began using a child leash with her toddler.

*Mama Michie needed a night out with her husband, and reminisced about what life before kids was like.

*Mommie V gave her daughter the gift of security this Christmas by meeting with an attorney and putting together a will.

*Natalie helped us celebrate Christmas with a tale about her special Christmas family tradition, and how it’s evolved over the years.

As we finish up last minute shopping and cookie baking, let’s take a look at this past week at Our Mommyhood.

*On Tuesday we had a pair of posts about raising bilingual kids.  Guest Writers Emily and Kathleen discussed the benefits of bilingual learning and how that can benefit our kids later in their lives.  Then, Staff Writer Brook shared about her experience learning a second language as an adult, and how she and her husband are raising a bilingual baby.

*Urban Mama, Sarah, insisted stroller sacks are a “must have” for all moms this winter.

*Now a mom of 2, Staff Writer Julia, explained how hesitant she was leaving her firstborn in the care of someone else, but now has changed her mind since Baby #2 has come along.

Now that we’ve all recovered from our Turkey hangovers and have rested our feet from traipsing through the stores after Black Friday sales, let’s take a look at the past week to see what you may have missed.
