Building An Emergency Stash of Kid Activities
By The Activity Mom, Guest Writer
Ever have those days where things are crazy and you look at the clock and think “It’s only 3:00? How will I make it?” I do!
My solution for this problem is a secret stash of activities. It changes the flow of the whole day when I can pull out something new and fun. I keep a file folder of activities that I’ve printed ahead of time. So when one of those days is upon me, I can pull out something fast.
Here are a few of my favorite printable activities from around the web to get you started:
Roll the dice to build a picture. This collection of games, from around the web, is great for counting and number recognition. They can be played over and over again together or independently and all you have to do to prepare is print and cut.
Quick Tip: Keep each set ready to go in a ziplock bag.

This one takes a little bit more prep work than some of the others but it is SO worth it. You will need sheets of craft foam for this.

I wanted to add this site for moms with young toddlers. There are a ton of free printables here like shape matching or color matching or books to print and make that I used with B when he was younger.
